The cardiac surgery intensive care unit is concerned with monitoring the patients’ condition after leaving the operating room directly until the condition of the patient’s health and stability and the patient’s health status. The unit contains 16 bed and related to it the following divisions and units :

Cardiac Rehabilitation Division :

This division provides the appropriate physical therapy for postoperative patients and physical rehabilitation them to return to normal life after cardiac surgery and giving them the necessary medical instructions.

The Resuscitation Team Unit :

It is responsible for responding to all types of cardiac arrest in Various departments of the hospital, performing the necessary procedures, supervising ambulances and ensuring the transfer of high risk patients to other hospitals.
